You can have a major impact on a child's life through a caring and consistent tutoring relationship. Our Learning Centers at five public middle (upper) schools in Cambridge bring together students and their volunteer tutors under the supervision by a CSV staff member and the extra resource of a school staff member. Attend a required orientation first, where you'll hear about our Learning Center tutoring program, other programs in Grades K-8 that we operate in partnership with the public schools in Cambridge, and the students our volunteers serve.

Volunteering in a Learning Center as a tutor means you would be meeting the same student on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon, 3:00-4:30 p.m. Our Learning Centers at middle (upper) schools in Cambridge serve only those students in Grades 6-8 who have been referred by their teachers. They need your help to succeed in school!

Orientation takes place at the high school, where we have our administrative offices, but tutoring takes place at our Learning Centers at five school sites. Contact us with questions about location or any other details.
