Experience Leads develop the Relay For Life experience. They are the hospitality experts of the Event Leadership Team. Individuals in this role build the fun, lead the stratgeic development, and execute all Relay activities to ensure that participants have fun, are engaged, and enjoy their experience both at the event and through every interaction they have with Relay For Life. Individuals in this role possess strong leadership and mentoring skills and are comfortable representing the American Cancer Society.
Experience Lead works with Event Lead and Relay For Life Specialist to recruit team members, ensure training has taken place, mentor team members, and grow event participation and quality.
Event Leadership Team meetings take place once a month. Person in this role will also need to attend monthly meetings with specialist and on occassion Team Captain meetings. Meetings start in late August/early September and go through the event date which is April 14, 2018.

The American Cancer Society also offers several programs to cancer patients, aiming to improve their quality of life - our Quality of Life centers are volunteer-staffed and provide cancer patients with free wigs and other items.
