Mission Statement

Description

First Hospice program in Minnesota

HealthEast Hospice Care was the first Hospice program in Minnesota. We continue to be a leader within the Twin Cities community, proudly serving the six county metro area: Ramsey, Washington, Dakota, Hennepin and portions of Anoka and Chisago counties.

The word "hospice" dates back to a centuries-old tradition of preparing gifts for those about to set off on a long journey. Today, Hospice Care refers to an entire spectrum of services that focus on the unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of individuals who choose to live as fully as possible at life's end.

The definition of hospice is a philosophy of health care that affirms life and provides care and support for people facing a life-limiting illness. To us, it goes even deeper. People who’ve experienced HealthEast Hospice Care tell us we treat them like family. We focus on the quality of life, not the duration.

About Hospice Care

Our care team works with the patient and the family, emphasizing emotional, spiritual and physical well-being. We offer help and support so you can focus on your loved one. We consider Hospice Care honorable and meaningful -- and we truly understand the level of comfort and compassion you need during such an emotional and difficult time.

Hospice is a philosophy of health care that affirms life and provides care and support for people facing a life-limiting illness. At HealthEast Hospice Care, we focus on the quality of life, not the duration. Through Hospice, the patient is able to recapture the spirit of living and make the most of remaining time with family and friends.
