Do you have a few hours a week and some experience in a law office? Do you have an appreciation for diverse cultures and working in a multi-cultural environment? Our Immigration Legal Services Program helps eligible refugees residing in the USA to complete their applications to become legal permanent residents.

  • Meet with refugee families from all over the globe who have been in the USA long enough to apply for legal permanent residency and help them to complete the paperwork needed.
  • Work in a fun, multicultural environment.
  • We will teach you about the immigration process.
  • We seek someone who can come into the office once a week for about 2-5 hours on a consistent weekday basis between 8 and 4 (we are not open on weekends). The ideal commitment is for at least 4 months.
  • This is a great opportunity for a retired attorney, civil servant or paralegal.
