Join our volunteer team at the 7th annual MDA Muscle Team Gala!

Event times: 6:00 - 9:30 p.m.
Volunteer time: 3:00 - 10:00 p.m. (Shift may end earlier than 10:00 pm, depending on event)

Volunteer Opportunities at the 2017 MDA Muscle Team (Subject to change):
Registration -
- Greeting guests
- Completing brief registration process and directing them to event entrance
Program Area Set-up -
- Place posters, inserts, tickets, gift of hope cards on 550-600 chairs.
Silent Auction -
- Helping promote auction items, encouraging bidding and ensuring appropriate bidding practices
- Secure auction items at the close of auction
Children’s Art Live Auction -
- Set up auction items.
Muscle Maker Photo Booth -
- Seeking and helping guests take photos with a group of athletes. Encouraging them to post on Facebook & Twitter. This will take place at registration.
Sergeant Slaughter Photo Shoot -
- Volunteer role is to actively seek guests to get photos taken.
Auction Out -
- At the conclusion of the event, supporting the check-out process by securing any items a guest won/purchased
Lucky Locker Raffle -
- Set up and help sell tickets.

Description
Every month, MDA in the Twin Cities hosts events to help raise money for children, families and individuals suffering from MD. The money raised goes to sending youth with neuromuscular disease to camp for a week in the summer - at no cost to their families, help pay medical bills, run support groups and fund research on the 43 diseases.
