The 2017 Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival will feature the talents of local and regional artists with nearly 175 booths to visit, 25 community groups serving international foods, four vintners pouring fine wines, micro-brewed beer, live entertainment on three stages, and the ever-popular Kids Kingdom.
Contact Lauren Council at lcouncil@santaclaraca.gov if you are interested in performing in the Kids Kingdom. Entertainment can include family friendly interactive games, activities, music, dance, circus acts, puppets, etc. Don't miss a great opportunity to perform at the City's largest event!
The Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival is set inside picturesque Central Park. The park sprawls over 50 acres and comprises a beautiful lake, hundreds of trees, several picnic areas and acres of green grass.
The Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival is free of charge to the community. More than 50,000 people from Santa Clara and the surrounding communities will attend the two-day event. The Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival is a tradition which brings the community together to support vital community groups and organizations in Santa Clara. To date, the Festival has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities.

Description
The City has developed municipal park facilities in order to provide its residents with a variety of recreation programs and services. Facilities include the Santa Clara Golf and Tennis Club, Community Recreation Center, Senior Center, Youth Activity Center, International Swim Center, Reed Street Dog Park, and Skate Park. Ulistac Natural Area, a 40 acre open space park on the former Fairway Glen golf course, opened in 2001. Counting the Golf and Tennis Club's 155 acres, Santa Clara's 38 parks, playgrounds and open space now totals nearly 450 acres.
The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for:
* managing and maintaining the City's beautiful park system, recreation facilities, pools, and cemeteries
* providing programs, services and activities that enhance residents’ lives and contribute to the health and wellness of the community
