Serving in one of our administrative volunteer roles is a great way to learn about the inner workings of a health care facility while providing much needed assistance to these busy departments. Most departments are open Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 and the days and times volunteers are needed are flexible to your needs.
Some of our departments currently in need of volunteers are:
- Referrals Department-connect patients with specialists from outside of the our health center. (Revere location)
- Patient Access-help patients complete forms and provide a friendly face in the waiting area (East Boston locations
- Neighborhood PACE-help with mailings and other office assistance (Revere location)
These are great roles if you love working with people and want to provide a valuable service while gaining customer service experience. Some Spanish is helpful but not required for most roles.
