The East Boston Neighborhood is looking for musicians who might have an hour to two to spare a week to perform music for the children in our Pediatrics Department waiting room. The EBNCH Pediatric Department provides care to nearly every child living in East Boston and we are hoping through this new volunteer role to add the gift of music to the health care we provide.
We are looking for artists who not only want to share music with our children but who would also be interested in teaching curious kids about their particular instrument and/or the genre of music they play. And, in general, get the children interested in music!
As a new undertaking, we are also eager to hear any ideas or suggestions that could help us make this a successful volunteering opportunity. Even if you can’t volunteer, please let us know about any recommendations or thoughts you might have!
