The Blue Heron Nature Preserve has several miles of trails (and more on the way thanks to our Blueway Trail Initiative) and we are currently looking for volunteers to help us maintain them. Trail maintenance includes walking the trail regularly, contacting the Preserve if there are any fallen trees in the area, picking up trash, and making sure the trails are clear of weeds or overgrowth.
If you are interested in dedicating your time and efforts to making sure the trails at the Blue Heron Nature Preserve are clean, safe, and accessible please contact Brooke at brookev@bhnp.org.
