It is time to prepare for volutneer opportunities during the holidays! Avalon Hospice has an exciting opportunity for the community to get involved in "adopting a hospice patient" for Christmas. Around mid-November, volunteers who sign up for this project will be assigned a patient and will be given a patient wish-list (or mulitple lists, if so desired).
Gifts will be collected at the Avalon Hospice office during the month of December and then given to the patient the week of Christmas.

Avalon Hospice is comprised of a team of doctors, nurses, aids, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers.
