T-shirt to Tote Project

Plastic bags are commonly found in trees near the Red River. Help us reduce the amount of plastic bags in and around the Red River by cutting, sewing and stamping T-shirts into reusable totes! T-shirt totes are handed out at community events and several local stores including Swansons Health and Food Products and Tochi to promote using reusable bags instead of plastic bags. Have an event you would like to have t-shirts totes at? Contact us to see about pick up. Please reach out to Kim at 701-356-8915 or kimberly@riverkeepers.org

Volunteers can take supplies home to work on.

To advocate safe and sustainable use of the Red River of the North in Fargo, ND - Moorhead, MN (F-M).

River Keepers is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization advocating safe and sustainable use of the Red River of the North through workshops, youth service-learning projects and advocacy. We work "hand-in hand" with civic, corporate and political leaders, local watershed groups and the public at-large.
