Hospitality Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: BLUE HERON NATURE PRESERVE INC
Please visit the new page to apply.
Help the Blue Heron Nature Preserve connect with the community of Atlanta in the friendliest, cleanest, and most professional way. As a non-profit with a small staff, some tasks are not done as readily as they should be and with our busy schedules we rely heavily on volunteers to help us not only get stuff done, but also to interact with our visitors in a positive and engaging manner.
Greeters are specifically needed for summer camps, school break camps, and other educational events during pick-up and drop-off times to welcome parents and children, direct them to the appropriate room in the building, and answer any questions they may have.
We are also looking for someone who can come by the building once a week to tidy up around the office, clean bathroom linens, vacuum, wipe down counters, and take out the trash. This is such an important task as it frees up time for the staff members of Blue Heron to continue pursuing our mission.
Please contact Brooke at brookev@bhnp.org if you are interested in becoming one of Blue Heron's Hospitality Volutneers.
