Greetings Volunteers,

Are you interested in helping a organization that has been providing housing for homeless families in Montgomery County since 1988? A organization that takes a holistic approach to addressing the needs of families experiencing homelessness? A organization with a success rate of over 90%? Then I have an opportunity for you.

The Dwelling Place is looking for volunteers to assist us with our 25th Annual "Carnival of Chocolates." This is a great opportunity to learn more about our organization, meet members of the Board of Directors, and have a great time helping out a great organization.

This commitment will require some hard work and a positive attitude but together, we can have a good time. If there are any students out there that would like to receive much needed SSL hours, feel free to sign up. This opportunity qualifies.

Some of the tasks will include setup, chocolatier assistants, carnival barkers, token sales, raffles, and breakdown. There will also be some periods where you will need to stand for an extended period of time.

If this interests you, then don't be shy and sign up now. Space is limited.

UPDATE- 8/30/17

We still have plenty of spaces available for volunteers for this event. If the time commitment we ask is too much don't worry, we are happy to have your assistance for as long as you are able to give. Whether it's for one hour or five hours, we'd love to have you there.
