A fun day of volunteering at a 5K 10K race event! We need
- Trail directors to stand on the course and help remind runners that they are on the right track
- Water cup fillers at the race's water stations
- Registration table volunteers (t-shirts, food table, silent auction table, runner check-in & Square operator)
- A Street Team for marketing & fundraising before the race
All of the jobs are pretty easy -- and don't worry - we have a walk-through planned for you. Plus, you'll get to meet lots of new friends (human and friendly dogs) in the process!

Mission Statement
The ROAR 5K 10K race is about fun and support for the animals who need us. Let's raise money for their care and for their futures! Event money will benefit Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, a nonprofit sanctuary in Washington County for dogs, cats and horses.
Description
ROAR (Race On! Animal Rescue) got its start in 2016 as RTAR, The Race to Animal Rescue. It was the product of a small but inspired group of family and friends. The race has since raised over $11,000 to benefit Angel Ridge Animal Rescue.
Angel Ridge Animal Rescue has been in existence since 2000. It is located on 50- acre Angel Ridge Farm in Chartiers Township, Washington County.
Since its inception, the Rescue has provided shelter and care for thousands of dogs, cats and horses, many of them aged and handicapped. The ultimate goal is to place these animals in loving forever home, but since Angel Ridge Animal Rescue is also a sanctuary, any animal can live there for life, or as long as needed.
