Carters House is hosting Black Celebrity Giving, Giving Boutique Dallas 2017 in conjunction with the MLK Community "Back to School" event in August to provide school uniforms and clothes to families in Dallas. Volunteers are needed to set up boutique, distribute clothing during boutique and clean up over 3 days.

No experience necessary! **Must be able to lift boxes and bags, wear comfortable clothes and footwear.**

Excellent opportunity for mother-daughter, father-son, parents and kids to volunteer. ** Everyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult to volunteer at Carter's House.** Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Easy, free and open parking - either park on the MKL Library branch (Building C), Meyers St entrance or Building B, Jeffries St. entrance. Back-to-School event is in Building E, MLK Recreation Center.

Light beverages and snacks provided on most days.

Carter's House is a nonprofit children's clothing bank located in Dallas, TX that provides quality clothing for children in low-income families at no cost. We provide our clients with an individualized shopping experience. We want them to feel special and remind them that the community still cares. We do this all while treating them with the dignity and respect they deserve.
