Walk to End Alzheimer's_group

Help us get one step closer to finding a cure for Alzhimer's disease and volunteer at the Walk to End Alzheimer's!

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!

This year's Walk in Applegate Park is set to attract approximately 1,000 walkers and over 100 volunteers are needed to help make the event happen! Duties and time-frames are dependent upon specific jobs that range from walker registration to assisting in the family pavilion, food and beverage, route monitors, t-shirt distribution, route cheerleaders, set up and tear down, etc. The Walk is on Saturday, September 9th and volunteer shifts are available between 5:00am-12:00pm.

Thank you for responding to this post. If you do not receive a response about helping out, you are encouraged to sign-up as a participant in the Walk.
