Are you a LMT and looking to volunteer your time? Kindred Hospice in Dayton, OH is looking for a few good LMT willing to visit with our patients and provide massages for pain management. Often times patients are over medicated or take too many pills. With hospice and palliative care, we look for ways to provide comfort to our patients without adding to their medication regimen if at all possible. This is where our massage therapists come in! This opportunity is in the field and at your convenience with the hours you are able to work. You will need to show a valid license for massage and have a reliable car.

Description

Kindred Hospice provides the highest quality of care. We treat everyone with respect and dignity. We acknowledge and embrace religious, ethnic and cultural diversity. Kindred Hospice offers a team approach to deal with the physical, emotional, spiritual and social impact of the disease on the patient, family and friends.

An individualized plan of care is developed and updated every visit to meet the needs of each patient and family. The team includes the patient, family, doctor, nurse, nurses aides, medical social worker, clergy and volunteers. We are available 24/7. We also offer bereavement counseling to the family for up to one year following the death of their loved one.
