The 21st Annual Kidrageous Golden Carnival at the Watsonville City Plaza is an amazing day of fun for your entire family. Celebrate hope with Jacob’s Heart children and families.
Every booth and activity at Kidrageous is in honor of or in memory of a local child with cancer. Carnival fun fills the day with magicians, arts and crafts, bounce houses, face painting and more.
Volunteers will work in 4 hour shifts. Each volunteer will be provided a snack and a meal if they work 4 + hours.
8 am - 12 pm: Set up.
11:30 am - 4 pm: Run a volunteer booth or dress up as a child's favorite character.
3 pm - 5 pm: Run a booth and clean up

To improve the quality of life for children with cancer and support their families in the challenges they face.
Description
Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services has been supporting children with cancer and their families since 1998. We believe that no family should experience childhood cancer alone. We support the entire family. To some families, this may mean a teddy bear and quilt to the child in the hospital, financial assistance to the parents to get to and from the hospital, art therapy for children with cancer to assist during the healing process, and counseling and support groups to children, teens, siblings and parents.
We celebrate and mourn the lives of Jacob's Heart children. We send cards and gifts on special occasions such as birthdays, graduations and, yes, weddings. Once a Jacob's Heart kids, always a Jacob's Heart kid. We support the family when a child loses life to cancer. We are there for the family when the child is first diagnosed, during his/her treatment, during follow-up when they return home, and for bereaved families.
Please join us and support our brave children and loving families during the most challenging times of their lives. And, celebrate the lives of these precious ones!
