Teens and College Students make a difference for youth kindergarten - eighth grade volunteering as an Afterschool Homework Coach. Answer homework questions in reading, math, social studies and science 1:1 or in small group weekdays after school. Qualification: 15 years or older, enjoys working with youth, a minimum GPA of 3.0, good verbal communication skills, dependable, patient, and flexible. Gain experience to add to a resume or college application. Volunteer shift: 3:30pm-5:30pm preferred or 4:00pm-6:00pm one shift each week Monday,Tuesday,Wednesdayor Thursday.Friday 3:30-5:00pm preferred or 4:00pm-5:00pm August 14-December 15. Homework help resumes January 8, 2018- June 7, 2018. Each weekday has openings for four volunteer Afterschool Homework Coaches.
