With us, donated goods have the power to do GOOD, to make a difference in people’s lives, to strengthen communities, and create a healthier environment. When you donate clothing and other items like books or electronics to Goodwill, your donations are given a "second life." Items sold in our stores go to a new home and the revenue from the sales fund our employment programs. Items not sold in our stores are donated to partner organizations for their use.
On Saturday September 30th, we are partnering with Wornall Homestead and Country Side Homes Associations to host a donation event, where members of the local community can conveniently donate to Goodwill while learning more about our mission. Volunteers work as Donation Drive Ambassadors who set up for the event, greet donors, accept and sort donations, and pass out donation receipts. Join us!
