Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance (SHIBA) is a program of the State of Oregon/Department of Consumer and Business Services. SHIBA trains volunteers statewide in Medicare Parts A and B, Medicare Supplements (Medigap), Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug), Medicare Fraud and Abuse, long-term care, and other types of health insurance and health related issues. The purpose of this position is to provide one-on-one confidential and objective health insurance information and assistance to people with Medicare.
