Sound The Alarm. Save A Life

The American Red Cross is taking our Home Fire Campaign to the next level. This coming September, we will join together with our partners, across the Nation, to launch a campaign -Sound the Alarm. Save A Life.During this blitz from September 22 nd - October 15 th,Red Cross and our partner volunteers will install 100,000 free smoke alarms across more than 100 major city markets. This is a big step for us, and will get everyone involved in our mission, drive community connections and, most importantly-save more lives!

On Saturday, October 14, 2017 the Bluegrass Area Chapter will be hosting one of these events in the Richmond/Berea communities. Our goal is to install 1,000 smoke alarms in homes, free of charge, in pre-selected neighborhoods! We will be focusing our efforts in the Lexington and Richmond/Berea communities. To make this event successful and to accomplish our goal, we need the help of our community.
