Be a Part of LGBTQ+ Community Pride Prom!

ORGANIZATION: Lexington Pride Center

The Pride Community Service Organization's 3rd Annual Community Pride Prom is right around the corner. This popular event gives LGBTQ+ people and their allies who are 18+ a chance to relive their proms or to do it right for the very first time.

This year's prom will be called Saturday Night Fever and will have a 70s disco theme. We have nailed down the theme, date, time, location, and DJ, but we still need help planning and pulling together food, decorations, entertainment and more. Many chances for volunteers to participate from soliciting donations, to helping get the word out, to decorating, food, and set up.

Meetings will take place bi-weekly to weekly with work occuring outside of meeting times. Meetings will take place at the PCSO Pride Center at 389 Waller Ave., Lexington, KY. More frequent meetings will be held as the event draws closer and volunteers will be needed at the event venue on the day of the prom.

This event is so much fun and we invite you to be a part of it!
