Can you volunteer on Thursdays for 3 hours?
Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles has a fun and interesting weekly volunteer opportunity for the right person!
Every Thursday we unpack 20 boxes of collectibles and artwork and we feature a sampling of it on our website.
We're looking for a creative person who is interested in getting photography experience to take good quality, interesting photos of our items each week and posting a beautiful selection to our website with a creative title.
Experience using computers and tablets is required. A weekly commitment from one person is ideal but we could split it up between two people doing every other week.
Uhuru Furniture is just one of the institutions of the African People's Education and Defense Fund, defending the civil and human rights of the African community. Our volunteers are contributing to self-determination in the African community!

Description
Uhuru Furniture and Collectibles is a non-profit store that is a fundraiser for black community empowerment programs of APEDF. We receive a truck load of donated furniture and household items every day. This is a lively, popular Grand Lake area store staffed mostly by volunteers. When you volunteer at Uhuru Furniture, you not only contribute to the success of the store, you become part of a larger movement for peace through social justice. People shop at Uhuru Furniture for low priced, top quality items and to support crucial programs for social justice for African people.
