Welcome Reception and Movie Night Volunteer
Welcome Receptions and Movie Nights are some of HI USA's best events to connect travelers, especially solo travelers, across all cultural backgrounds. By volunteering for event(s), you improve their travel experience, and help HI USA achieve our goal of connecting travelers of all backgrounds to create a more inclusive world. Join us in our mission by volunteering with HI Los Angeles.
- Connect with people of all demographics
- Set up the projector and snacks
- Assist guests in mingling with each other
- Answer travelers' questions about Los Angeles
- English speakers of all levels welcome

Who We Are
We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start: from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
