We are looking for volunteer help for posting Blue Jean Ball posters throughout the county & at our senior program sites. Here is the information about both:

FOOD Share’s Signature Fundraiser, the Blue Jean Ball, is coming up fast and we want the entire county to know about it! We have lots of posters that we would love to have up in local businesses all throughout the county. We would need you to walk into each business and ask the owner/manager if it is OK to tape the poster up inside or outside their store.

MUST be 21+ to help

Attire: attire to match the western-type event. Comfy shoes - name badge is a must!

Mandatory (sorta) Orientation meeting on Monday, September 11th from 5p-6p at FOOD Share. More info to be given then.

Thursday, September 14th

Walnut Grove, 3370 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark, CA 93021

Volunteer shift times and Volunteer duties:

10am-2pm Set-Up Help - assist with the set-up of the event

4pm-7pm Parking - assist with parking cars well to maximize the limited space we have

4p-7p Check-in - greets guests, make sure they get their wine glass, etc.

5p-9p Reserved Table Ambassadors - you will be the reserved tables host, helping them open and pour the bottles of wine that come with the table and talking all about FOOD Share!

7pm-9pm Jail - use the square to charge cards, handle cash box, issue 'warrants’

3pm-7pm Vendor Helpers - helping w/ whatever the food and drink vendors need; plates, napkins, ice, etc.

8:30p-done Clean-Up - help clean up trash, breakdown, etc.
