VEDA (the Vestibular Disorders Association) supports and empowers patients with inner ear and brain (vestibular) balance disorders on their journey toward recovery. We have recently created a legislative advocacy plan and are looking for committee members to help us launch this grassroots effort. The committee meets months for one hour via video conference, with some follow up activities. A passion for vestibular advocacy and/or experience with the legislative advocacy process are preferred.

The mission of the Vestibular Disorders Association is to serve people with vestibular disorders by providing access to information, offering a support network, and elevating awareness of the challenges associated with these disorders.
Description
VEDA collects & disseminates information about vestibular (inner ear balance) disorders & related topics. We educate the public & health professionals about vestibular disorders & their effects, and nuture a support network for people & families affected by dizziness & balance disorders We support research & clinical activities that might improve the quality of life for people affected by these disorders.
