Summary: Rise Up Against Addiction 5K Committee members will help promote 5K events in their local community. Committee members will work closely with Relationship Manager to achieve goals related to event participation, volunteers and fundraising. Responsibilities:

• Attending committee meetings in person or via conference line
• Distributing promotional materials for Rise Up Against Addiction 5K (including brochures, posters, etc)
• Connecting Relationship Manager to potential sponsorship leads and/or making sponsorship asks
• Working table/booths at community events to promote Shatterproof and Rise Up Against Addiction 5K
• Speaking at events to promote Shatterproof (optional)
• Participating in the 5K as a participant or volunteer
• Assisting with planning for pre- and post-5K events

• Passion for Shatterproof’s mission of ending the devastation that addiction causes families
• Comfort with making requests for support in form of event participation, volunteers, in-kind donations and/or sponsorship
• Public speaking skills with the ability to present Shatterproof’s mission and ways to get involved to groups of all sizes
• Ability to use technology such as Basecamp and email
