Encompass Hospice of Nashville offers ongoing opportunities to help others live their best lives even at the end of life. Be it spending time with a patient, or helping organize elements of care behind the scenes, Encompass Hospice welcomes all those who want to join with us in providing a Better Way to Care. While assisting patients & their familiies is a part of that, we also have some "behind-the-scenes" ways you can help.

Helping with Administrative Support:

• Create Welcome Packets: Help assemble and organize the variety of information resources/documents needed to help begin providing care.
• Craft Tokens of Remembrance: In hospice, we check in, over the course of the year-plus following a death, with the key folks that helped support a person during their end of life journey. One way we do this, is by offering each of them tokens of remembrance as a way to recognize and commemorate their loss. Use your artistic talents to help make something beautiful for a person healing from hurt (and we have a bit of a butterfly theme, so be prepared to see a few!).
• Send a helpful word: Those who are closest to a patient receive ongoing support with notes and newsletters. Help prepare these items for mailing by putting together the appropriate materials, addressing, and affixing postage to these important letters.
