The Arizona Attorney General’s office is looking for committed volunteers to answer our dedicated helpline when citizens call in regarding elder abuse and exploitation.


If you are interested in joining our team please look over the requirements below.

  1. AGO application process, including fingerprinting and background check.
  2. Three day training on answering the TASA helpline.
  3. Minimum of 6 hour commitment a week at the AGO.
  4. Customer service/call center experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  5. Ability to be on calls that could last up to an hour.

Description

The Attorney General serves as the chief legal and law enforcement officer in the State of Arizona. Mandated by the state constitution, the attorney general is elected to a four-year term by the people of Arizona.

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office represents the public interest of Arizona and its citizens in fighting the fentanyl crisis and the drug cartels, protecting Arizona’s children, combating elder abuse and consumer fraud, litigating complex, multi-state settlements, serves crime victims and much more.

The office acts as the largest law firm in the state, representing and providing legal advice to most state agencies. The team of advocates and attorneys enforces consumer protection and civil rights laws; and prosecutes criminals charged with complex financial crimes and certain conspiracies involving illegal drugs. In addition, all appeals statewide from felony convictions are handled by this office.

The Attorney General’s Office brings and defends lawsuits on behalf of the State and prepares formal legal opinions requested by State officers, legislators, or county attorneys on issues of law. The office does not provide legal advice or representation to individuals.
