Our Lady's Inn is in need of an experienced jewelry maker who can teach beginners.
Pay It Forward provides women living at Our Lady’s Inn an opportunity to express their creativity through artistic jewelry design. It also is a chance for them to give back to the organization that is helping them build a better future.
The women gather weekly for class to learn how to create necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rosary bracelets. All of our beads and supplies are generously donated by members of the community. These items are then sold at local fairs, fundraisers, and at our Twice Blessed Resale Shop. By utilizing donations wisely and thanks to our faithful volunteers, 100% of the proceeds go to support the women living at Our Lady's Inn.
The volunteer Pay It Forward Jewelry Designer and Teacher will have the help of other long-term volunteers who organize the supply room and provide teaching assistance. The volunteer Jewelry Designer and Teacher would work directly under the Volunteer Coordinator.The volunteer Jewelry Designer and Teacher will teach moms who live at Our Lady's Inn how to make jewelry every week from 10:30am - 12:00pm. Class attendance ranges from 1-5 moms.
Experience teaching jewelry making preferred. Experience working with vulnerable, at-risk populations preferred. Must be willing to participate in agency training.

Since 1982, Our Lady’s Inn has served as a life-affirming alternative to abortion for more than 6,000 women who have chosen life for their unborn babies. For more than 35 years these families have been sheltered and supported in their efforts to live healthy and productive lives, attain educational goals, gain employment, and secure stable housing.
