The Lung Health Collaborative is a partnership between health professionals and community members looking to improve outcomes for people with asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases) in our region. The Collaborative meets quarterly to discuss new resources, update informational materials, and volunteer to conduct asthma classes and screenings in the community.
We are looking for Pulmonologists,, Allergists, Respiratory Therapists, Pharmacist or students learning any of these professions and community members who have asthma, COPD or other lung diseases and want to help others.
We specifically need help with conducting asthma education classes, spirometry screenings and developing a COPD program.

Founded in 1917 as the Sacramento County Tuberculosis Association, the Breathe California Sacramento Region (Breathe) serves 28 counties in Northern California. Though our focus is local, Breathe has a national reputation for breaking new ground and seeking original solutions to cleaning the air and improving lung health.
