The National MS Society is looking for volunteers to help with our upcoming event - Bike MS: Hudson River Ramble, held on Saturday, September 16 at Thacher Park.
Bike MS: Hudson River Ramble is a one-day cycling adventure with routes ranging from 10 to 100 miles through the Capital Region’s picturesque farmlands and towns.

Site set up & Breakdown Team:
Date: Saturday, September 16, 2017
Set up time: 5:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Breakdown time: 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Description: Volunteers will help with site set up the morning of the event. Volunteers will also help take down signs, break down tables and pack up event items. Heavy lifting is involved - no seated positions available.

Description
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. The Society offers three key fundraising activities: The Bike MS Ride, Walk MS and Walk MS Challenge. The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
