Greetings!
Apollo Hospice and Home Health is looking for Medical Administrative Interns for our Glendale office for internal and external projects. This individual will be working closely with our business manager, project and patient coordinator.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with receptionist/office management duties
2. Clerical/Billing duties and creative projects
3. Computer based projects with excel, word, powerpoint and outlook. Wil be using Hospicemd software
4. Direct patient care/companionship duties
5. Visiting skilled nursing facilities, hospitals and RCFE's for quality care control
Incentives included:
-Mileage reimbursement for field work
-Meal cards/food payments
-Hospice Volunteer Training Certificate
-Awards and Certificates based on performance
-Resume development
-Letter of recommendation based on performance
-Possible hire
This will be a minimum commitment of 6 months.

We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.
Description
Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
