August 6th is National Friendship Day and to celebrate we will be making Cards for Kids. More specifically, we will be making cards for children in foster care and residential therapuetic programs. The cards should be inspirational and fun and will be delivered to the children the same week.
The Children's Foundation of America will provide all the supplies for volunteers to make the cards, just bring your creativity and energy for a fun filled day.
The Children's Foundation will also acceptthe following donations for our Birthday in a Bag program the day of this event:
Gift Bags
Tissue Paper
Birthday Party Decorations (streamers, signs, etc)
Cake Mix
Frosting
Sprinkles
Wrapped Gifts for birthday presents (please specify age gift is appropriate for)
Gift Cards for birthday presents
