Stems and Steins

Stems and Steins Event Set-Up and Décor: Love working outdoors and getting extra steps on your fitness tracker? We need volunteers to assist with event set-up, which includes: setting up and putting décor on tables, and setting up chairs, canopies, trash bins, and other outdoor items. This work is done completely outdoors, and requires the ability to work with a team to complete moderate to high physically demanding tasks. All age groups are welcome. Students who need service hours are welcome.

More about Stems and Steins and the Norwood Park Historical Society: Stems and Steins is the premiere fundraising event for the Norwood Park Historical Society, which preserves and operates Chicago's Oldest Home, the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House. At Stems and Steins, guests have the option to taste 50 hand-selected wines or 50 craft beers for $55. Hors' d'oeuvres, pizza, cheese, dessert, and snacks are also included, as well as a silent auction and raffle. More about Stems and Steins can be found here: https://2018_nphsstemsandsteins.eventbrite.com

Stems and Steins raises money for the maintenance of the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House and growth of the museum. The Historical Society provides adult and children's community programs, historical and topical speakers, antiques appraisals, and research opportunities. Be a part of this great event and this rich Chicago History!
