Do you have good communication skills and enjoy meeting new people? Are you a detail-oriented individual with good organization skills? If so, Compassion Community Clinic would love to speak to you about becoming a Volunteer Coordinator. CC Clinic is a faith based, nonprofit dental clinic that offers free dental care to low income adults with no dental insurance. The clinic is open 2-3 times per month and is run mainly by volunteers who enjoy helping others and giving back to their community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Volunteer Coordinator, you would recruit, screen and recognize volunteers for their efforts. You would help with volunteer events and work closely with the Clinic Administrator to determine volunteer needs, assignments, and evaluate performance. You must be willing to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and have good communication skills. This position requires a one year commitment and would serve 8-10 hours a month, mostly from home. Please check out our website at www.nvccclinic.org for a detailed job description and application. Description
CC Clinic is a 501(c)3 which opened it's doors in December 2013 to meet a critical need in our community. CC Clinic is the first and only ongoing, free dental clinic. Thousands of Nevadans have no access to receive the dental care they so desperatly need. CC Clinic offers increased access to quality dental care in a compassionate atmosphere. Basic, emergent dental treatments of fillings, extractions, and cleanings will be available. In addition, trained Prayer Partners will assist patients in registering and offer them prayer and information about Jesus Christ, while affirming their dignity as made in God's image. No fees will be charged, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
