Are you a dancer or an artist? Do you you play soccer or guitar? Do you work as a scientist, mechanic, animator?
The Zone Academy After School Program at The Salvation Army is looking for some skilled volunteers to share their talents with the kids in our program.
You can commit to leading a special one-day activity or a multi-week elective. Program staff can assist with the creation and instruction of your special program or elective or you can supply your own materials and structure.
All that's required is an interest to share your skills with young people in the Glendale community!!
Our after school program runs each day from 2:30-6. Electives take place from 5-6 Monday-Thursday.

Our goal is that The Salvation Army in Glendale will become known in the community as a Christian Church that is spiritually alive in Christ; has a vision of a community-based church made up of multiple ethnic groups in the neighborhood; will provide a spiritual social services ministry/community outreach.
