Greetings!
Apollo Health Group is looking for a Project Coordinator apprentice/intern to assist in our Glendale office with internal and external projects. This individual will be working closely with the Volunteer coordinator and Business office manager.
Responsibilities include:
1. To assist with the managers in internal projects like filing, organizing of medical records. Create packets for skilled disciplines.
2. Visit skilled nursing facilities and patient home to make sure they are situated and have been informed about our program. You will visit regulary to assure quality of care.
3. Will assist in the field with the community relations team to help with luncheons at hospitals and physicians office.
4. To assist with creative projects such as filming and photography. Will create newsletters and send out cards to friends and family.
5. Will assist with Social Worker and Spiritual Counselor duties for the psychosocial needs of the patients
This will be a minimum commitment of 6 months

We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.
Description
Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
