Pull invasive buckthorn from the metro-area’s best remaining Big Woods habitat. The dense tree canopy only allows wild flowers to bloom in early spring - all the more important to bust the early growing buckthorn. The large sugar maples in Wolsfeld Woods Scientific and Natural Area that dominate this 221-acre parcel should be showing their colors during this event!
Lunch provided! All ages welcome, children must be supervised.
Volunteers Needed: 100
Volunteer Supervisors: 15 (No experience necessary)
