Are you a people-person who enjoys networking and giving back to the community? You could be Habitat for Humanity’s new Community Engagement Volunteer!

Responsibilities include spreading information to stakeholders about community events, gathering personal information and feedback from homeowners, as well as some data management.

We are looking for people that are courteous, comfortable with people, and have basic organizational skills. It’s a bonus if you speak Hmong, Lao, or Karen.

You will gain valuable people skills, data management experience, while learning how to network with community members. You will get a direct and in-depth experience with our families and can help make a difference in the community!

Seeking to put God's love into action, Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Description

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing by working alongside future homeowners and volunteers to build and rehab simple, decent and affordable houses. Milwaukee Habitat also two donation-driven retail stores called the ReStores.

All proceeds from ReStore sales benefit Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity's mission of building simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with families in need. The ReStore is stocked exclusively with donated items such as new and used furniture, appliances, kitchen cabinets, building materials and other home goods.
