We need local community members to help us with the Grand Opening Reception of our brand new facility, SCFHC-Vernon Medical Building, located at 1028 E. Vernon Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90011. This celebration will take place on Thursday the 17 th of August 2017, as a kick-off to National Health Center Week. Our new location serves patients with chronic diseases and women who are in need of prenatal care. SCFHC hopes that with the addition of this new building, we will be able to further our 30 year commitment to make health care accesible in South Los Angeles.
Our volunteers will assist with setting up for the event, greeting our visitors, assisting with event flow, and final clean up. This is a networking opportunity to meet with elected officials and members of the healthcare community.
This is a fantastic chance to be able to meet some of the leaders in the health care community in South Los Angeles, become familiar with the health services available in your area, and become more familiar with the field of community healthcare!
Ideal candidates will exude professionalism, have multitasking abilities, and can handle a fast paced work environment. Prior experience in a professional environment is a plus.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
