Main Street Market

Main Street Market is an open-air market hosted by Urban Farmgirl - nestled on the beautiful grounds of Midway Village Museum in Rockford, IL. Shop over 150 vendors from across the Midwest - handmade artisans and purveyors of vintage goods - while enjoying amazing some of the best food & local music.
Volunteer opportunities for this event are plentiful as thousands of eager shoppers descend into the village. Here are the volunteer opportunities available:
- Pop/Water/Ice Cream Tents: Volunteers will sell these items using Ipads and accepting cash at a number of tents throughut the village.
- Marketing Booth: Volunteer at the museum's information booth and share information about the programs and events available at Midway. Training with our Marketing Director will be provided prior to the event.
We have two shifts available so you can volunteer for one and do some shopping the rest of the time.
- Shift 1: 8:30am - 12:00pm
- Shift 2: 11:30am - 4:00pm

Description
Welcome to the award-winning Midway Village Museum! The museum campus sits on a 148-acre campus conveniently located near I-90 in Rockford, Illinois. The museum is comfortably nestled among trees to create a beautiful ambiance at any time of the year. Our Victorian-era Village and Main Museum Center are centrally located on the campus within walking distance of each other.
