We need your help to pull off a fun golf tournament fundraiser: Speed Golf FORE the Cause!
No golf knowledge necessary!

ROLES:
Timers / Scorekeepers - Start your stopwatch as soon as the first player of your team takes their first stroke. Stop your watch as soon as the fourth player of your team makes their final putt for the respective hole. Record the time it took for all four players to finish said hole. Start and stop your stopwatch at each hole and record time for all 9 holes. Monitor your team’s strokes closely and tally number of strokes it takes the collective team to finish the hole.
Registration - You’ll check in participants and volunteers at the main registration table. We’re providing great prizes to celebrate our winners and raffle items! We’ll need volunteers to familiarize themselves with the prizes so they can provide details to interested participants. After registration, volunteers will transition to the checkout table.
Floaters - There are so many details that pop up day of and we’ll need all hands on deck to execute this event. Your role will be to pitch in wherever staff see a need, this could include moving merchandise or prizes, jumping in for a no-show volunteer or directing participants on where to go. Our floater volunteers are flexible members of the team that are willing to lend a hand in any area.
Team Support / Cheats - Our teams will need someone to keep them in line and encourage them to keep upping their advantage over other teams. You will encourage participants to purchase "cheats" to gain an advantage on the course. Watch your team to ensure they follow the rules of the game. Record your team’s use of purchased "cheats" to ensure that they checkout properly at the end of the round.

Amp the Cause is a Denver-based nonprofit organization that improves the lives of families through entertainment, annual events and community service projects. We raise critical health and education funds, generate awareness of local charities, use monetary and in-kind donations to help children with life-threatening illnesses, and provide opportunities for kids to participate in educational programs in a safe and healthy environment.
Description
Amp the Cause was founded in 2004 by Christie and Walter Isenberg based on the belief that all children should be entitled to the best healthcare available and to receive a quality education. Initial efforts focused on raising funds through an annual concert with monies raised donated to selected non-profit organizations such as Children’s Hospital Colorado and Denver Public Schools.
Today Amp the Cause helps to support over 50 child-focused organizations annually through its fundraising events and community service projects. These events include Denver Day of Rock, Community Day, Holiday’s For Kids and Celebrity Waiter.
Since its inception, Amp the Cause has distributed more than $7 million in monetary and in-kind donations to our beneficiaries.
