Hospice Volunteers play an indispensable role for patients with life-threatening illnesses, providing them with companionship and support, along with respite for their families. Our patients live at home or in a nursing or assisted-living facility throughout Hillsborough, Merrimack or Rockingham counties. Carol Richards, VNA Volunteer says "For those who have not been involved in hospice, I think they focus on the dying part and don't realize how much joy, happiness and life are still present at this "end of life" stage.
