This is a community advancement volunteer role that furthers HealthEst's Neighborhood Integration system strategy by supporting the East Side Health and Well-being Collaborative and East St. Paul community members!
Responsbilites/Duties:
- Check-in with East Side Table Coordinator at East Side Table central distribution site at start of shift each Monday
- Double check delivery route and Make-at-Home Meal Kits for delivery
- Deliver 5-8 Meal Kits to the appropriate address within the dlivery time window
- Check-out with East Side Table Coordinator at end of shift (either in-person, call or text)
- Represent HealthEast during interactions with each community member- greeting all with respect and a smile
Qualifications:
- 16 years or older
- Must have valid MN driver's license
- Ability to use one's own car for 4-hour shift every Monday for 10 weeks
- Flexible. Able to follow directions and work independently
- Excellent communication skills; demonstrate knowledge and skills neccessary to interact with a diverse population
- Comfortable interacting professionally with partner organizations and community members
