Neighborhood Resource Center is committed to increasing volunteer and intern engagement in order to improve NRC core economics and community vision of having a thriving, inclusive Greater Fulton by strengthening families, building relationships, sharing resources, and developing skills to enhance lives.
The NRC's first commitment is serving and empowering the Greater Fulton community with our time, resources, and information. However, due to the fact that a good portion of our residents do not have access to the world wide web; we conduct monthly survey runs in our community to collect feedback, comments and information on current events or needs.
As a Community Survey Runner you will help make the community better by completing surveys to understand the immediate needs of our residents. By walking door to door in the Greater Fulton community, Survey Runners will conduct food access surveys on either smart phone, tablet or clip board and pencil. Then the information you have gathered from the community will be handed over to our staff.
We advise that you dress accordingly to the weather, as a majority of the work that will be conducted will be done outside.
Time Commitment*: Saturday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. We ask that you can commitment to at least one hour of volunteering.
*This time is not finalized-- it will change due to circumstances of the weather.
