The Indy Half Marathon at Fort Ben, plus 10K, 5K, and Kids Run will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023. The race takes participants on a fall tour through Historic Fort Harrison State Park, Lawrence, and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Volunteers are essential to the success of any great event. You contribute to creating a safe, organized, and fun experience for participants. More than 400 volunteers are needed to help us host and manage the Indy Half Marathon at Fort Ben!
Volunteers are needed to help with packet pick-up, course marshaling, managing aid stations, handing out finishers’ medals, and in many other areas during the race. Now is your chance to take part in welcoming all of the athletes and spectators on Race Weekend.
You will receive a Race Volunteer T-Shirt and some light refreshments, depending on your location. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age.
