  • 4 people are interested

REAP is a multi-cultural youth empowerment non-profit serving over 800 students in Portland Area Schools by teaching leadership, college preparedness and entrepreneurship programming. We are quickly expanding our staff, so if this position is a good fit, it could easily turn into long-tern paid employement.

We are having our Annual Fundraiser Luncheon on September 28th and I am looking for an assistant to help with the planning, facilitating and follow-up of the event.

The position would be 10-15 hours a week depending upon what you wanted, and we could meet at either the REAP office, or work together from a coffee shop in the SE. Someone who is hard working, has a lot of follow through, can make the 2 month committment, is not afraid to make asks and has experience planning or organizing events or is genuinly interested in gaining experience.

Duties will include

  • procurring auction items,
  • reaching out to businesses and following through on asks,
  • helping design invitations, helping design and manage the event website and registration
