Emmaus is providing volunteer support for Duckfest on Saturday, October 7th in St. Peters, MO. Volunteers are needed to help in various areas, including raffles, duck calling contest, event registration, and more. Multiple shifts available from 12:30 PM through 9:30 PM! Great opportunity for college groups, fraternities, sororities, or anyone needing service hours! Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Duckfest, presented by Flynn Drilling & Warrenton Oil Co, is a celebration of all things outdoor with an emphasis on waterfowl hunting.
This event features live music, drinks, food, and a bags tourney. You also have the chance to walk away with some great prizes from several raffles tables, or enter to win a a well dug on your property OR $10,000! Duck blinds and a dream hunt season ar e also up for grabs, so you definitely don't want to miss any of those!
Duckfest also features a Calling Contest sponsored by Cabela's & UpperDuck Hunting, that attracts callers from throughout the Midwest. With a Novice, Two Man, and Open Meat divisions, there's a chance for everyone to get in on the action!
All proceeds from the event benefit Emmaus Homes, a local nonprofit that serves over 300 adults with developmental disabilities throughout the St. Louis metro area. Duckfest is proud to support Emmaus and their mission!

Description
Since its inception in 1893, the primary purpose of Emmaus Homes has been to provide quality long-term supports for developmentally disabled adults when their own home and/or family situations are no longer a viable option. We provide residential services and habilitation services to people with developmental disabilities which includes autism, cerebral palsy, and some traumatic brain injuries.
Emmaus Homes addresses such needs as improving life skills, increasing decision-making abilities, expanding communications capacities and providing opportunities for recreational and educational activities in our cleint's communities.CAUSE AREAS
